This is a poem I wrote about my Memaw. R.I.P :(
She died 11/8/09 and i'm still not over it.
It was Sunday
Everything was going as planned
We went to the hospital
To see my grandmother
Who was sick.
She was supposed to go home Monday,
But something went wrong
Her organs started failing
She was losing her fight.
She lost.

The next morning I woke up
No one else was
Ready for school or work.
My mom told me the news.
No school that day.
We went to my papaw's
Most of the family was there
Giving their condolences.
All the seats were taken,
Except for one.
Memaw's recliner.
No one dared to sit there
And if there wasn't a seat,
They just stood.
We went home, my father
Was devestated, thinking
About why her, and why now?

Tuesday, i woke up
No school that day either.
It was the day of her
Visitation
We drove to the funeral home,
Ready to shed tears.
The whole family
Walked into the room.
There she was.
She looked so beautiful and peaceful
Memaw wasn't suffering anymore.
Other family members
And close friends started
Coming in to see her.
My family stayed there for five hours.
We finally ventured home.

I woke up, thinking it was just
A bad dream.
But no, it was Wednesday,
The last day
I would miss school that week
Her funeral was at one o'clock
We arrived there at twelve.
All kinds of friends and family
Were there.
The preacher started his sermon.
I promised myself i wouldn't cry
Because i had put on mascara
But i remembered,
I put on waterproof
So I just let the
Tears fall from my eyes.
Seeing my papaw was the worst
Part of the whole day
I felt his pain and sorrow
But we both knew she was
Better off where she was at.

We followed the hearse
Out to her burial site
The preacher said a few more
Meaningful words
And we left.

Ethan stared out the window of the car, gazing at the wooded scenery. The Rolling Stones "Gimme' Shelter" burst through his headphones. Boxes of packed up stuff pressed against his arm, and he felt compressed, unable to breathe. Dust filled the air of his family's car. Only a year ago had Ethan felt this before, the feeling of moving...
Another fight that wasn't his fault. Another new school. Another leave from friends who had now turned enemies. And many more troubles to come. Ethan closed his eyes.
Ten minutes later, his mom turned in her seat to look back at him. Figuring he was asleep, she began to talk with his father. "Ethan's asleep," she began. "When do you think we'll get there?"
Keeping at the wheel and continuing to stare out the front window, Ethan's father replied "Probably an hour, not long. Why?"
"Well, I'm just so nervous about telling him... he won't understand," she sounded worried. Ethan began to pay more attention.
His father grinned, "Don't worry. Ethan will be fine, he's a strong kid. I don't think he'll mind boarding school. And anyways, we'll be only a few blocks away if her needs us...."

Haha my sim did the funniest thing today. There was a party at his house and there were no open seats for him to eat his pancakes. So he goes into the bathroom, sits on the toilet, and chomps away. It was hilarious rotfl.

This morning I got up at 7:30, its Saturday, and I usually sleep in till noon on Saturdays. Wanna know why I got up so early? I'm gonna tell ya anyways.

My sister is getting married in October, so this morning we were going to look at flowers for the wedding :). We got some really pretty ones. She's going for a purple theme, so the flowers are purple and white. And the bridesmaids' dresses and maid of honor's (that's me!) dresses are purple as well :)

I'm excited for her wedding. Like, you have no idea haha. Cause..my family is pretty..crazy. No, crazy is an understatment. Were INSANE. But, a good insane.

Like, we burst out in movie quotes all the time, like "That's quacktastic!" that's from Billy Madison. And haha the one we do alot is "MUFASSAAAA!! oooo *shudders*" rotfl Lion King.

And we do this noise alot too..rotfl. It sounds sort of like a cow..a high pitched cow. We go "meeeeh?" it sounds like "m-ehhhh" rotfl were a strange family.

This blog is really long, i'm sorry for that. I don't know why i'm typing all proper and all. Like seriously.

Okay..uh. I guess i'll go now :) My friend is coming over so we can watch the Blues' Clues Movie...were both 15. :)

My dad (not even my dad YET) is always talking about us moving back to his hometown.  Ive lived where we are now my intire life, ive got friends, a bf, and all my family is here.  Lately it's ben all about him, HE wants to move cuz HIS family is there.  and my mom wants to move to.  i told them that if they move i will run away and live with ona my friends, but they don't listen.  the house they wat is 2.5 million dollars and we don't have any where near that much money, but it still makes me cry at the thought of moviing.  Help?

I have a sister

Her name is Kristin

She is a great big sister

Because she always listens.

 

She is very funny

She does great impressions

She always makes me laugh

I'm never in a depression.

 

She buys me great gifts

On special holidays

She wakes me up early

With the silly games she plays.

 

When I have friends over

And we want to make a tent

Kristin says "dress as bears!"

I don't know what the heck that meant!

 

Kristin is the best sister

That a girl could get

I'm happy it's me

She is the best sister yet!

Philip is funny

my family haz 6 kids 2 parents 3 dogs and a gecko.  i have 4 younger brothers and  1 younger sister, im tha oldest of all of them. my brothers have 2 golden retrievers and they r gettin huge!! i have a leperd gecko and a wire terrier  mixe and she is sooo cute!! i like my family......most the time, they can really get on my nerves! because im tha oldest i have LOTS of boring chores. i have 2 change my sisters diapers and  watch all my lil  1s, but tha good thing is i get 2 have all tha friends over i want when ever i want and my room is tha basement(only cuz its away from everyone) so i get sum peace & quiet.  but i have 2 luv them no matter how mean they r......they make me happy most tha time  =)

 Last Wednesday I had a very unfortunate tradgy happen to my family. It felt like my world turned upside down. My 40 year old cousin and his wife were murdered. I was in complete shock for about 3 hrs. and it even made my stomach sick. After my shock I broke down crying in front of all my friends and their moms. I felt miserable and still do. My mom left the next morning and will not be returning until this wednesday. And also on last Thursday police found out it was my 40 year old cousins son that murdered him and his wife. I'm in such disbelief of their death because I had only seen them just last Thanksgiving and they were perfectly healthy and alive, but now they're gone. At least I know that they are in a better place and that they are no longer in pain. All my friends and me are praying for me and my family. Their funeral is Tuesday and I am unable to attend which makes me very sad because I want to sing Amazing Grace for them. At least they will always be with me.
