Hey everybody.... how is your day??? I wanna know: are you like, REALLY tired and low energy today? I MOST CERTAINLY AM!!!!!
Seriously- like all I've done is read all day and try not to fall asleep doing that. GAHHHHHHHHHHHH! OK, so on the lighter side, i have my own online business where i sell juniors clothes and on the last lot i made $71!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know, its awesome! Except the person hasn't paid me yet which I am a little bothered about but other than that Life Is Good! So what I do is I go to garage sales and buy name brands for cheap and I try to sell them to Plato's Closet, a thrift store that only takes good name brands and pays good money for em, too. BUT I discovered that I can make scads more if I sell on ebay and I'm doing just that. I LOVE MY JOB!! And like for the $71 I sold 32 items, calculating to almost $2 per item, and I paid less than a dollar for everything, and some of the things were mine!! So now I'm like super richish.  see ya'll! - Jillian

So, I have this friend named Eric. I have a crush on him, and he has a crush on me. He's been kinda flirting with me lately.

Yeah, we found out that we have a crush on each other...See, my BFF, Sarah, told Eric that I had a crush on him. So after I finished chewing Sarah out for spilling the secret, Eric told me the whole story and told me that he has a crush on me, too.

And guess what? Eric and I are going out for dinner tomorrow! As in, a date! This is actually the very first time I've been on a real date in my life, and I'm almost 12 years old (I know, I'm very pathetic).

But I am super excited, but yet super nervous at the same time. What should I wear? I'm thinking of wearing some skinnies, my best t-shirt, and my vest. Then I'd use those hot hair curlers or whatever they are the night before the date so my hair will be all pretty and curly on the night if the date. And I'll wear my fedora! Yeah! My fedora would go perfect with my outfit and hairstyle! I don't wanna dress in anything too fancy, but not too casually modest, either.

Bah, who am I kidding? You probably don't even care about what I'm planning to wear or whatever. But keep in mind: This is big for me, because this is my very first date.

   Hi! I recently read an "odd" article about Pet Fasion Week in New York. People bring their dogs to this event and can buy $3,000 collars, winter coats, and lots more. But this is all for the dogs. Honestly, I don't think these dogs really appreciate this act and some might not consider them even dogs. THEY WALK AROUND IN DRESSES HERE PEOPLE! YES EVEN THE MALES!!!!!!!

   Personally, I think this is WRONG. Dogs are meant to be loved, loyal, and played with. No matter which breed or gender no dog enjoys being a dress up doll. It's just the way it goes in their mind. I decided that i would write a blog on the awesome graphic designer paul frank! the reason? because my aunt just gave me some awesome shirts designed by him! so heres some info about the guy:

Early Years:
In his younger years, Frank attended Sun View Elementary. During the 1990s, he was an art student at Orange Coast High School. He bought a sewing machine in order to complete small projects. One day, he used some spare orange vinyl to create a wallet and after seeing his work, his friends expressed interest in other accessories, so he began to sew items such as guitar straps and backpacks.

Career:
A few years later, Frank formed Paul Frank Industries in order to keep up with the demand for his products. He worked at another job during the day, but sewed and sold his products during his spare time. Paul Frank Industries is currently in Costa Mesa, California. The company's stores are also popular, with domestic locations in Los Angeles, California, San Francisco, New York City, Dallas (now closed), Las Vegas, and Chicago. International locations include: London (now closed),Amsterdam,Berlin, Athens, Seoul, Kuala, Lumpur, Manila, Taipei, Taichung,&n bsp;Kaohsiung , Bangkok, and groups in Japan and Bahrain. Future locations include Doha,Qatar and Dubai, and the United Arab Emirates.
Frank currently owns and heads new design studios Treestitch Design, Inc. and Park La Fun. He has not been affiliated with Paul Frank Industries since November 2005. Frank's new label includes brand new characters, as well as a more hands-on, personal approach towards his new creations. Frank's new line includes handbags, wallets, t-shirts, and many other accessories all personally designed by Frank himself.

Influences:In 1972, Frank attended Mark Kepple Elementary School in Glendale, California California. The building was painted in bright colors—rusty orange, light blue and gold-yellow—and Frank acknowledges this influence on his subsequent work. He also says that he is inspired by industrial designers: "...[artists who] design schools, desks, chairs, office furniture, bicycles, cars, blenders, toasters from the '40s through '60s, stuff like public buildings." Further, Frank says that much of his style has developed as a result of his love for music such as The Who, Queen, The Rolling Stones, and The Velvet Underground.

Hugo the tiny maltese pooch simply wasn't feeling the frilly blue dress he was wearing.

"He doesn't love it," owner Laura Kinsey, 34, said Saturday, as Hugo hid under a table at the first day of Pet Fashion Week NY 2010. "At least it's not pink."

Kinsey, who owns Sam & Tasha pet product shop in Chelsea, was among dozens of exhibitors hawking doggie couture at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan.

Rhinestone collars, winter jackets and high fashion dresses - as well as collar charms that costs up to $3,000 - were all the rage at the annual event, which hit the BigApple several weeks before its human counterpart, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Professional dog stylist Jorge Bendersky, 39, was taking doggie dress-up to the next level with his Bichon Frise, Tiffany, dipping her white paws and poofy tail in pink dye.

"If a dog is going to be walking next to your Manolo Blahniks, it has to look fabulous," said Bendersky, who runs a dog styling business called Planet Jorge.

"Dogs like the attention," he said. "So obviously there's nothing better than a pink dog."

Rose Russo, 40, dressed her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Lily Pad and Penny Lane, in purple dresses with detachable skirts.

"These are my girls. We come here every year," said Russo. "Just like people fashion, we have doggy fashion."

hi! everyone school is starting very soon for me for some of you it already started anyway; here are some tips to avoid back to school drama. k on our first topic first day of school clothing; huh! y'know once i read about this girl in a book she was going to a new school and on the first day she wore pants and every other girl in her class wore skirts and on the second day she wore a skirt and every other girl in her class wore pants  ; she made friends later on but get what i'm saying bad first impression ; so i suggest that you should wear something not to simple and not to  fancy lie may be ur fav top and some jeans boot cut would be good, or maybe  flare! get the picture, hope this helps!!! blog ya' later!!!

Thanks for everyone who entered my last contest.

In this round you have to take a picture of yourself getting ready for fall (wearing a jacket/sweater, jeans, no sandals/flip flops). It would be nice if you could have a background with some trees/leaves to start off the fall season.

  thisadvice blog is about fashion. First I always look in fashion magazines for the "in" nail polish color, hair styles, and clothing. I don't spend alot of money on soo I used the stuff i have. You canmismatch or buy the intended outfit in the store. I usually buy whatever I picture myself wearing or what i think looks cute. I had a fase whereI would wear anything pretty much, once was just pink and black, another was every single color, i have worn all neon colors. (but imover that now) i usually wear a mixture of darks and lights. I lovee layering things and mixing things. Some good stores that I shop at are:Forever 21, Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, PacSun, Siddeca, and Tilly's. THose are my top stores. I sometimes go to Target, Old Navy,or Ross but usually the top ones. Right now I really love tights, I like the ones with different patterns and stuff. soo anyways if you have any good store than tell me and I will for sure check it out! :)                                           -Kennedy

Last night was the miss universe contest on abc! I watched every single second of it and it was very cool!    I read something recently that caught my eye, and I wanted to share it with you all :).  In these economic times, a lot of people have been going on a shopping diet, where they don't go shopping for a certain length of time, and rework the items in their closet.  Some people only do it for a month, others six, and some, even a year. 
   This inspired me to stop shopping for a little while, and appreciate what I have.  I have wayy more clothes than I need, so I am  going to try to avoid shopping until Christmas.
   If you want to try it, here are some ways you can get a new look for free:
*Shop in other people's closets.  Have a clothing swap with friends, borrow clothes or jewelry from your mom, even see what you can do with your brother's clothes.  Be open to everything, and you will find endless possibilities.
*Clean out your closet.  You will probably find lots of clothes you have forgotten about.  While you are cleaning, try to put your pieces together in new ways.
*Tie a cute ribbon or scarf into your belt loops, or clip a hair bow onto your shoes.
*Cuff your jeans to capris, or cut your old jeans into shorts.
*Try new things with your makeup and accessories.  Use lipstick as a (lightly, please) blush, bronzer as eyeshadow, or hang a ring on a necklace string.
*Layer two long sleeved shirts, and maybe cuff the sleeves.
*Wear a polo over a halter top, or a cami over a long sleeved shirt.
  I encourage you to take an afternoon and try to put your clothes together in new ways.  You will find lots of possibilities and maybe even a new favorite outfit! :)

   A white knit hat

   Pink shirt with fake white splatter paint on it and radios that say cool things

   Blue shirt with a tie in the back and silver sparkly flowers on the bottom
