Hey everybuggy!

You are probably wondering what I am so excited about, well several things:

1. I am starting co-op next week, and get to meet new people.

2. I get to start 4-H in October.

3. My grandparents are coming in two weeks and they are going to take us to a water park!

4. My former bff in AZ emailed me and said that the reason she didn't call me was because she forgot my phone number. SO I gave it to her and hopefully she will call soon!!

5. My birthday is in 3 months! Will be turning 12 and  I'm getting my ears pierced!!

So that's 5 things!

Just wondering, do any of you girls play piano? I do! I am working on a song to play at the fair next year, it's called Prelude I don't know who it's by. It's either  Beethoven, Mozart, or Bach. It's a really pretty song.

I can't wait until we go to AZ for the Mexico Mission! Then I'll be able to play my piano, instead of just my keyboard! And I'll get to see all of my friends!

Last time I was at my friend's house, I signed her up for AK her screen name is fuzzybuddie98 you should add her as  your friend, I'm sure she would appreciate it!

I found 2 new songs that I like:

Sk8er Boi--Avril Lavigne
and
Potential Break-up Song--Aly & AJ

I made an apple pie today! I hope it tastes good! We're bringing it over to my great-grandparent's house when we go over today.

Well I can't think of anything else to say, so I'll close.

~S.Rene`

Have you ever wondered what it'd be like to be a vegetarian? Do you want to stop killing animalsfor your own personal diet? Do you want to become healthier?

Well as a lifelong vegetarian, i have your answers!

The type of vegetarian my family encouraged me to be is a little different then you might think. I can eat seafood like fish and shrimp but not things like chicken and beef. It might seem weird to you,but I have been eeating this way my whole life and it is normal for me!

There are many Pros to being a vegetarian. One of them is that you willlive longerthan most meat eaters. Eating so much meat can be bad for you and can cause heart attacks. Thats why you should substitute your meats for other things like beans and soy products.

If you decide to become a vegetarian but you dont know the kinds of things you should eat instead of meat, then you might be missing important parts of the food groups. But subsitutingall the following things will make you the healthiest you've ever been!

Heres a chart to help you out!

Instead of this.....try this!

Bacon/Sausage..."Fake" bacon and sausage. (Read below)

Hamburger......Fish Sandwich or "Fake" hamburger(Fish sandwiches arent THAT bad for you, but i wouldnt suggest eating them every day....and read below)

Hot Dog........"Fake" hotdog (Read below)

Chicken Fingers....French Fries (ok, they arent the healthiest but you cant always be 100% healthy!)

Steak.......SALAD! lol! (steak is HORRIBLE for you. Try a salad! They arent all bad. You can put stuff on it to make it taste better like grapes, almonds, rasins, cheese, olives...pretty much whatever you wannt!)

Turkey Sandwich....Veggie Sub(Ever tried a subwith just cheese lettuce tomatoes and veggies of your choice? Its DELISH!)

Tacos with meat......Tacos with Beans! (Just a bean burrito or taco with out meat is good and good for you!)

You might be thinking....what the heck is a "fake" hotdog? When you're a vegetarian you have less food to choose from then you did before. So Price Chopper came up with a solution! There are a lot of fake products like Chicken pattys, hamburgers, hot dogs, bacon, sausage...all the things you might miss if you decide to change your eating habits. They are made with soy products. But before you turn up your nose, encourage your parents to buy them! it might change your life.

I personally think they taste delicious but you meat eaters might think different because you are used to eating the regular stuff. But you should give it a try!

Ok to be fair to you guys....being a vegetarian isnt ALL good. There are a few setbacks. Like having to order special things at restaurants, (can i have the beef sandwich...with no beef?) eating before you go to a party, and bringing your lunch to school. But in the end it all pays off!

SO if you girls have any more questions PLEASE ask me!! Thanks for reading my blog!

Angela/ ♥Locol!c!ous♥

Smell those hamburgers and juicy hot dogs grilling? It’s officially cook out season! Break out of the house for some fun in the sun. :)
Invite your closest BFFs, and those cute boys you’ve had your eye on, and prepare a backyard barbeque to ring in the spring! ♥♥ :)   Set up the scene
Balloons are a great way to attract attention and make any event feel like a kickin’ party. Tie some balloons to tables, chairs, railings, and of course your mailbox so people know which house the fun is at!   Balloons can be weighed down so they won’t blow away in the breeze and used as a centerpiece on the picnic table. You could even use flowers in bloom and make little vases or buy inexpensive potted plants to use as table centerpieces.   Party stores sell colorful tablecloths, so get an awesomely bright plastic tablecloth for the table. Choose cheery bright colors—you can even decide on one color and make that the theme for the whole party!
A cookout isn’t a cookout without some good eatin’!
Watermelon, duh! What’s a cookout without sweet ‘n’ tasty watermelon slices? You can buy it pre-cut or buy the whole watermelon and chop it up yourself. Have a seed-spitting contest outside and see who can spit theirs the farthest!
A Twist on the HamburgerCook up some great hamburgers on the grill like usual, but have some crazy toppings. You can grill pineapple  sli ces to top the burger for a tropical punch.  Some other changes could be getting a variety of cheeses, like Pepper Jack and Cheddar, or having different breads, like Sundried Tomato slices or wheat rolls to keep it healthy.
Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade Don’t just bring out the old’ Cola for your BBQ bash. Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade  will help all your buds get into the springtime mood with its refreshing, bubbly taste! Let it chill in the fridge before your friends arrive and serve it in fun glasses.
Delish Dessert Buy a big family pack of popsicles to hand out for dessert. Get a package with a bunch of diff flavors so everyone can pick their fav. Flavor! ♥   Fun ‘n’ Games
With the weather getting warmer, everyone’s lovin’ being active outdoors. Buy some water guns, get into your Bathing suits and play a nice friendly game of Water Tag.  :):):) If it’s warm enough, have your pals  bring bathing suits. You can set up a slip-n-slide on the lawn so everyone can cool down and kick off the warm-weather season in style. ♥♥♥ ........................................... .................................................. .............. Thanks for reading.. these are some tips for you if you'd like to throw a BBQ Bash! ♥ I hope everyone Enjoyed.. ♥♥ Plz comment! I really hope you use these tips for a party. It will be awesome~ :):):)  Love from a BBQ Lovin' Girl ♥ ~ Autumn-Rose ...

Yep, you heard me...Seems like a lot of people like bacon-y cupcakes, too!

Source:http://www.delish.com/recipes /cooking-recipes/savory-cupcakes?gt1=47001...Go here to look at ALL of the cupcakes I am going to mention! :)

Maple Bacon:

Brooklyn baker Keavy Landreth ofKumquat Cupcakeryspecializes in mini cupcakes, including this Maple Bacon Cupcake made with maple-cinnamon cake and topped with vanilla frosting and a thick cut of bacon from Vermont's Tamarack Hollow Farms.

Chili Chili Bang Bang:

At theMeatloaf Bakeryin Chicago, Cynthia Kallile combines two unlikely comfort foods: meatloaf and the cupcake. For her cupcake-shaped Chili Chili Bang Bang, she tops a chili-inspired mini-meatloaf (prepared with ground beef and beans) with cheddar cheese-corn bread.

Tomato Basil Parmesan:

Shelley Cassar ofBliss Cupcake Caféin Fayetteville, Arkansas, offers 30 different cupcake flavors — her sole savory one is the Tomato Basil Parmesan, made with tomatoes from the local farmers' market and topped with fresh-grated Parmesan cheese.

Lasagnettes:< /p>

Los Angeles caterer Matthew Poley ofHeirloom-LAfills his signature "Lasagnettes" (lasagna cupcakes) with fresh pasta and main-course-worthy combinations like slow-braised short rib with cippolini onions and Robiola cheese.

"Red Velvet":

At the Phoenix restaurantTuck Shop, Mitch Hoverman puts a witty spin on the ubiquitous red velvet cupcake: His version includes a beet cake topped with goat cheese-horseradish whipped cream and studded with pink peppercorns.

Bacon White Truffle:

AtMorein Chicago, Patty Rothman's fanciful cupcakes range from sweet to savory, humble (the BLT Cupcake, with bacon, tomato, and an onion-garlic cream cheese frosting) to luxurious (including two versions of the Bacon White Truffle, one garnished with fresh-shaved white truffle; the other with truffle salt-tossed popcorn, pictured).

Chocolate Covered Potato Chip:

At Roman Blas's Palm Springs shop,Over the Rainbow Cupcakes, the appropriately-named Wild Side menu has fantastical offerings like the Chocolate-Covered Potato Chip, rimmed with crushed potato chips.

Chicken 'N' Waffles:

Brooklyn bakers Matt and Allison Robicelli ofRobicelli's Cupcakescome up with inspired concoctions weekly, like the Chicken 'n' Waffles, a vanilla "waffle" cupcake topped with buttermilk fried chicken.

So what do you think? I just included my faves, to see ALL the pictures & different cupcakes, go to the link shown above.

Would YOU eat these out-there savory cupcakes? Or 'no way am I eating a chocolate-y potato chip?'

I think I would try them ,just to be fun. =D

Sarah [[♥♥♥]]

Hey, vampire’s might not eat delish treats, but a girl’s sure got to, right? Even if you don't like Twilight, or your Team Jacob.. You can still make this Delish Cake!! ♥♥

Take your taste buds to the dark side with 'Love at First Bite: The Complete Vampire Lover’s Cookbook' by Michelle Roy Kelly & Andrea Norville.

Here is the Recipe for Edward's Sparkle Cake! ~ (Enjoy)

Edward's Sparkle Cake! ~

What You’ll Need: (Serves 10)
1 Package Angel Food Cake Mix
1 Package (3 ounces) Strawberry Jell-O
1 Cup Boiling Water
1 Package (1 pound) Frozen Strawberries
1 Cup Whipping Cream
2 Tablespoons Sugar
Fresh Strawberries (optional)

What You’ll Do:
Bake the angel food cake as directed on package. Let cool.

In a large bowl, dissolve the Jell-O in the boiling water and add the frozen block of strawberries, stirring to break up and mix the berries.

Place the cake, widest side down, on the serving plate. Cut a 1”-thick layer from the top and set aside. Cut around the cake 1” from the outer edge to within 1” from the bottom. Gently remove the section of cake between the cuts, and tear it into small pieces. Fold the pieces into the strawberry mixture and pour the mixture into the cake shell. Place the reserved cake layer on top.

Whip the cream until thick and stir in the sugar. Spread over the top and sides on the cake. Decorate with fresh strawberries, if desired. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.   Thanks for reading! I hope everybody uses this recipe for any special day or a Holiday! Or just a plane day..
