Hello TWILIGHTERS I have great news about Twilight!! There is a 5th book of Twilight called Midnight Sun! The author Stephanie Meyer is writing the story right now. I do NOT know if it is going to made into a movie. But I can tell you this::::Midnight Sun is an expected companionnovel to the book Twilight by authorStephenie Meyer. It would be the retelling of the events of Twilight, but written from the perspective ofEdward Cullen as opposed to that ofBella Swan.

Most Twlight (or Teenage Vampire Romance Novel) fans don't get why Harry Potter fans hate Twilight. Now, I understand why Twilight fans love Twilight - its your typical silent romantic fantasy that appeals to girls going through their angsty rebel phase. But this is the common argument against Twilight:
"A 100-something year old dating an 18 year old? That's wrong. Even if he looks like a teenager, it's still gross. And if Edward was a realistic vampire, he'd be drinking Bella's blood already. It's not cool dating a vampire, and I think Twilight sends a bad message."
And yes, this is what I think.
So, are their any arguments like this against Harry Potter? I want to see what you think....
(And no "Harry Potter is lame and Twilight rocks and is so romantic" types of arguments, please. I want this to be a logical debate with real reason)

                &n bsp;    Chapter 1: Broken Rule "You can never be known to the world Mercedes, to them you must be claimed as one of the dead." The count told her angrily " But I want to be a part of the living." she confessed firmly " You are a vampire, and you WILL be forever more." the counts adviser Desdemona said " Fine, then forever dead I will be." she told them despite her anxious anxiety to be free from the darkness that claimed her soul " Yes, are we clear then?" The count asked her " Yes, Master." she sighed in defeat " Good, then you are dismissed." The count told her She slowly walked away, with blood like tears slowly coming out of her dark brown sad depressed eyes. She walked too the cliff outside and just stood there, the wind blew her long brown hair and scattered her bloody tears across her face, she stood their like a statue and thought of how good a normal death would be better than her eternity of darkness. She placed  one foot over the edge of the cliff , and was about to place the other one so that way she could step off, but an iced cold hand grabbed her arm, It was her best friend Xavier, his long black hair knotted up from the wind , his liquid deep red eyes looked at her apologetically " You know you can’t die." he told her coldly " I know, but I just want to try." she told him " I wont let you do that." Xavier Told her " Why not? I’ll heal." she asked " I care about you, and I don’t want you to be hurt, even if you will heal." he said " Why? Why do you care about me like that?" she asked sadly "I can’t even begin to explain it to you, I just grew a deep attachment to you when I first saw you and I guess my attachment to you grew over these thousand years that we have had together." he said " The Count Forbids it." She said quietly " I don’t care what my father said, I love you, and I cant do anything about it, besides he grew attached to my mother, so WE can too." he said to her with much honesty He leaned in closer until their foreheads touched, she stood there shaking, slightly frightened. Xavier moved slowly, trying to decide just what he was going to do. When their lips finally touched , her hands trembled at her sides as Xavier moved unsteadily grabbing her waist, wrapping his arms around her she feared being caught from the counsel's guards so she quickly pushed him away. He was puzzeled at her actions. " Do you not want me?" he asked confusedly " It’s not that, I just can’t do this." she told him " You're still afraid of the counsel?" he asked her She nodded her head. " Im the count’s son, he wont kill me or else his blood line will end and he knows it." he said "Im a– Just stay away from me Xavier." she told him and then she took off, he stood there worried that Mercedes didn’t want to be with him. She didn’t want to survive in her immortal life any longer, she was determined to escape the hands of her maker, the count,but she didn’t want to leave Xavier behind...She knew she had to though. There was no time to think or hesitate, she left that very night. back inside the Kingdom walls Xavier waited for Mercedes to come back to the Palace, but he didn’t know that Mercedes had left him and everyone else. so what did you think about the first chapter? it may take awhile for the 2nd chapter to come because im stuck.......

well im currently reading one of the most popular books out there well its a series but same diff. its the twilight series you may have noticed from the title. right now im on Breaking Dawn (the 4th book). in the book there are a couple different books like the first section  of the book is what im reading. the book name is jacob. the first little book thing was bella then jacob ( witch is the one im on) then bella again. summary: edward get married and decided to go on a honeymoon to esme and carlisles island called isle esme edward gets bella pregnant and she doesnt kow whats going on she feels wierd.she realized shes pregnant.sence the baby is part vampire bella is not strong enough to hold the baby she gettin real skinny and weak. ( ive heard that she has to drink blood to keep the baby alive as well as her). i started the 1 book twilight in 4th grade andnow im just now readin breaking dawn

You know, upon observing recent trends among girls my age, I have found that one thing seems to be one of the top three obsessions is vampires. It's a curious thing to me, as before Twilight and that stuff caught on, vampires were supposed to be scary, the subjects of the darkest of horror stories, but now it seems every girlie-girl wants to have one for a boyfriend (sorry to burst your bubble; they aren't real). So what happened that turned vampires into such un-vampirish characters? Made them the fixation of those who had previously wrote-off vampires as a 'goth thing'?

All signs point back to Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series. Now I know that the books/movies and junk are really popular, so I'm not going to do that much bashing on them. I picked up the first in the series, and I couldn't bring myself to finish the whole thing before throwing it across the room in disgust. The image of the traditional vampire has been entirely violated! They don't die in the sunlight, they're all some sparkly Barbie-doll type things... Urgh. All right, all right, I'm done criticising.

But what I found so interesting was the saga's ability to make a mass obsession with characters originally seen as taboo, blasphemy by some standards. I mean, a creature that drinks blood has been the very essence of human fear for centuries, and to warp that into something that becomes the latest craze among the girlie-girls. I mean, even if I don't care for Meyer's writing (not to mention her very patchy character development), I can't help but have some grudging respect for being able to brainwash so many girls into wanting to be a vampire, running around with sparkles on their cheeks, et cetera.

Although, I'm finding myself craving another traditional vampire saga. It could be modern times, but so long as they're the vampires that have been immortalized in the gruesome legends; the kind of vampire the Bram Stoker wanted us to have nightmares of, the basis of why so many people fear the dark, and the monsters that dwell within it.

Hello everyone!!! I just wanted to say that I am reading a series called Cirque Du Freak and it is really good!!! I am on the 7 book out of 12!!!  It is a vampire series and it is nothing like twilight thoughtbut I still like it :) you girls should read it  :D   (they also have a movie of the first 2 books put together that came out in 2009)

The day Twilight fans have been eagerly awaiting is right around the corner! (Sorry I've been posting so much on Twilight, it's what I follow. Tell me some cool new info, and I'll happily update.)

The teaser trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipseis going to be released on March 12, in the previews for Remember Me, a movie starring one of the actors in the hit Twilight Saga franchise, Robert Pattinson. This information was taken from Summit Entertainment's official Twilight Twitter page. If you have a Twitter account, be sure to give them a follow for the latest news.

On a personal level, I've been trying so hard not to count the days until Eclipse-- but once the trailer is out in the open, I think it'll be hard to resist coming running back to those oh-so-slow numbers, dwindling away as the days pass.

More professionally-- Remember Me will be in theaters March 12, rated PG-13. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse hits theaters on June 30, also rated PG-13.

The NEW MOON movie's out on DVD March 20th!! I just reserved my copy today! I can't wait! only 1 month, 7 days till my NEW MOON slumber party! That's right! I'm gonna have a (twilight) SLUMBER party! I finally decided that i'm on Team Jacob! I  haven't read all the twilight books yet (i'm on Eclipse), but i think Bella's gonna pick Edward, though. No offense to the people that are on Team Edward, but Edward doesn't really LOVE Bella for who she really is. He hangs around her because he wants to DRINK HER BLOOD!! He's like obsessed. But anyway, i thought i'd just share that...so BYE!!

Ok people, I am sure most of you have heard of twilight right? Ok well maybe some of you have read it, right? Well you know what REALLY gets on my nerves?! When people who read twilight say "Oooh, I read twilight in three days!" or "I read the WHOLE SERIES in a week!!" I mean come on people, reading twilight the fastest doesn't mean you like it the best, or thought of it first, or it makes you any better than the other people who read it. I read twilight and the rest of the series in less than a year but guess what? I know almost everything because in soaked it up or recognized every detail. I'll bet most of you who read twilight in less than 3 days didn't even know what disease Edward died of if someone asked you right away. I hope I'm not offending anyone and I don't have anything against those people who did read it quickly, it just bugs me when people say it making it sound like the other person who read it slowly or is still reading it didn't read it as good as they did. hey ppls of the universee!!!! OMG OMG OMG i just met PETER FACINELLI AT MY MALL!!!!!!ahhhh he was so AWSUM!!!! (hes dr. carlisle from twilight) i took a pic with him, got his autograph, and he gave me a HUG!!!! now that shows awesomness! me and my mom waited in line to pay for four hours and then waited in line to take a pic for one hour... :D right after i drank a watermelon smoothie, which was DELICIOUS! im TIRED!!! but that was totally awesome!!! ya! awesome! coolio! im gonna go now! haha byyyezzz -madi
