Denise Restauri is the country's foremost tween girl expert. As Founder & CEO of AK Tweens and AllyKatzz.com, she is able to translate tween thoughts and opinions into valuable feedback and guidance for companies as they develop new products and services, marketing and advertising campaigns, and brands geared for tween and young teen girls. This insight has made Restauri a sought after and frequent commentator on the subject of tween girls on national television, newspapers, magazines and radio programs including CBS Early Show, The Today Show, BBC America, ABC, NPR, E!Online, USA Today, People Magazine, More Magazine and many others. She currently serves as the tween girl expert on True/Slant.com. She is also launching the first ever national Tween Girl Summit to be held in Washington, DC in October 2009.
Restauri has more than 25 years of marketing and sales experience, including nine years as VP of Sales for USA TODAY, where she was the creative and business force behind the evolution of USA TODAY into the "travelers" newspaper and the #1 newspaper in the nation. In addition, she worked closely with the White House to produce education programs that put USA Today in the nation's classrooms. Subsequently, Restauri founded a marketing consulting firm and co-created Promapalooza, a TV show for teens built around seamless product placement, optioned by Bender-Brown Productions, before forming AK Tweens.

An avid entertainment enthusiast, Peggy Mansfield is an experienced entertainment ad sales executive and marketer, across both Internet and print, and has a proven track record generating sponsorship sales and partnership revenue. Prior to joining AK Tweens, Peggy served as the Associate Publisher at Entertainment Weekly, a Time Inc. publication, overseeing all aspects of sales development, marketing, events, promotions, research and creative services for the brand (both web site and magazine). Peggy was charged with driving multi-media revenue to the brand through creative partnerships and marketing programs. She has also served as Publisher of In Touch Weekly where she was instrumental in introducing the new entertainment weekly to the advertising community, General Manager of Teen People Magazine's teenpeople.com, overseeing all aspects of the web site including advertising sales, marketing, editorial and technology, and held senior ad sales positions at MTV Networks including VP and Publisher of Nickelodeon Magazine and Nick Jr. Magazine and SVP of Ad Sales and Marketing for MTV Network's music and kids' web sites (mtv.com, vh1.com, nick.com, etc.). She also held senior ad sales positions at The Walt Disney Company and Child Magazine. She has been an expert speaker on entertainment and integrated marketing at Columbia University, MPA Conference and Folio Conferences.

Wendy Simmons has built a 20-year career in all aspects of public relations, marketing and management consulting. Simmons has extensive experience on both the corporate and agency fronts, and has personally overseen the launch of thousands of products and hundreds of companies across nearly every industry. As Founder and Managing Partner of Vendeloo, Wendy leads the firm's activities on both the operations and account management fronts, overseeing client's strategic communication programs and advising on matters related to business strategy and development. Simmons also serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing for MOSCOT Eyewear and Eyecare, a Vendeloo client, and is the Executive Director of Mobileyes Foundation, a charitable organization that she co-founded in 2008. During her career, Simmons founded and was President of Mindstorm Communications, which she grew to $7 million in annual revenue, representing more than 75 clients such as Sony Electronics, Cablevision, Reebok and others, before Golin/Harris International acquired the company. She also served as Senior Vice President of TSI Communications, one of the nation's largest and most respected technology PR firms, wrote a Japanese language book, opened and operated a bar in Manhattan and lobbied on Capitol Hill, among many other experiences. Simmons graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from George Washington University.
Jim Hudak has been managing technology projects for 19 years. He started his career developing I.T. systems in the print publishing world for companies such as Harte-Hanks and Newsday. In 1996 he jumped on the Internet bandwagon and has since directed the development of several high-profile Web sites, including Disney Publishing and Workbook + Co.
