AllyKatzz.com

AllyKatzz (AllyKatzz) is a safe place for girls to be creative, express themselves and see the world thru the eyes of other girls. It is our goal to give girls new windows to the world while complying with the United States Federal Trade Commission's Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA).

AllyKatzz.com is a 100%-monitored blog site. College students and adults read every word and review every picture BEFORE they are posted on the site. Only blogs that follow the rules are posted. The rules include, but not limited to: NEVER INCLUDE 1. your last name/full name2. addresses - especially your home address3. phone numbers - especially your phone number 4. name or address of your school5. your screennames from other sites6. email addresses - especially your email7. photos of yourself, home, school, family, friends, teachers, 8. inappropriate language

TweenSummit.com

TweenSummit.com is the online home for the first-ever National Tween Girl Summit for tween girls ages 9 to 14.

Information Collected

AllyKatzz.com Registration In order to register, AllyKatzz.com requires users to provide a first name, a screen name, a password, an answer to a password reminder question, a date of birth, a zip code, state, and country, and a parent's email address. AllyKatzz requires users to provide a parent's email address so that can notify the parent that his/her daughter has registered at our site and to offer the parent the right to opt their child out of membership. AllyKatzz also requests the user identify themselves as either a "City Gurl" or "Country Gurl"; asks whether the user prefers to "read a book" or "play sports"; and whether the user considers themself to be "a Gurly Gurl" or "a Tom Boy." AllyKatzz will not condition a child's participation in an activity on the child's disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity.

AllyKatzz and TweenSummit Contact Emails

If you email us via one of the email addresses listed on our "Contact Us" pages, we will respond to the email and then delete the email.

Tween Summit Press Registration

Official members of the press can register for the Tween Summit using the "Press Online Registration Form". Members of the press are required to provide a first and last name, news organization name, title, work address, work phone, and email address. Members of the press may also provide a mobile phone and fax number. This data will be maintained to contact the registrant in the future. Information provided by anyone not a member of the press will be deleted.

Tween Summit Application and Teen Volunteer Application

Tween girls seeking to attend the Tween Summit or be Teen Volunteers must download a .pdf of the "AllyKatzz Tween Girl Summit Application" or "AllyKatzz Tween Summit Teen Volunteer Application". The applications require the applicant and the applicant's parent to provide personal information and also requires parental consent. The applications are to be submitted via mail or fax. The data collected via the application is not combined with any information collected online at AllyKatzz.com or TweenSummit.com.

Third Parties

AllyKatzz.com does not share any personally identifiable information of our users with third parties, commercial or otherwise, who are not acting on direct behalf of AllyKatzz to administer the site and fulfill the sites obligations to its members. All contracted partners of AllyKatzz are contractually bound to maintain the confidentiality and security of all customer information. AllyKatzz will share aggregated statistical data with our sponsors, partners and general public. For example, we may announce in a press release that 84% of AllyKatzz girls have cell phones.

AllyKatzz will collaborate with sponsors and partners to conduct research on AllyKatzz. The research may involve extracts and analysis of extracts from the data AllyKatzz collects routinely as well as thru blogs, comments and profiles that are written by the girls. The extracts that the sponsors or researchers have access to will preserve the anonymity and privacy of users. If the study seeks to access any further information or participation from AllyKatzz, verifiable permission from a parent or guardian will be required.

As part of participating in the Privacy Assurance Program, AllyKatzz adheres to the strict information collection, use and disclosure requirements. Privo is an independent, third party organization committed to safeguarding children's personal information collected online, and to helping parents and their children exercise control over personal information while exploring the Internet. The seal on this page indicates that AllyKatzz has established privacy practices and has agreed to submit to Privo's oversight and consumer dispute resolution process. Sweepstakes and Prizes

To receive prizes and other products you win, earn, or request through our various services, including contests, sweepstakes and promotional giveaways, you will need to provide your full name and mailing address at the time you (the member) have been notified that you are a winner. All winners 12 and under must have a parent or legal guardian forward the mailing address. Mailing addresses will be deleted after the prize has been successfully sent/received.

Web Visit Logs

AllyKatzz does collect visit information including pages visited on AllyKatzz, the date and time of the visit, IP address, and the version of browser used. We use this information for improving AllyKatzz's content and for statistical data for sponsors and partners.

Cookies

Cookies are small bits of information we send to your computer. They allow us to remember who you are as you move around AllyKatzz. Because AllyKatzz is a blogging community and girls have an identity, the functionality of the site is dependent on our ability to recognize our users. We recommend that you enable the option "cookies that are sent back to their originating servers" on your browser.

AllyKatzz offers links to selected outside providers and sites we feel AllyKatzz visitors will enjoy. You understand that by accessing these outside sites, you are leaving the AllyKatzz site and its Services. View or Delete Information

AllyKatzz offers girls and their parents the ability to view or delete the user information described above at any time. Parents can remove any or all of this information and effectively stop AllyKatzz from collecting or using it any further. Parents can allow the collection of certain information but ask that it not be disclosed to AllyKatzz sponsors/partners. To do any of the above, parents only need the correct blogging name and password for the AllyKatzz account that was used to register.
