We already told you a bunch of reasons blogging is safe on this site. But one of the BIGGIES is Ally's Gang, a group of college students who check out all of your entries and pics before posting them - for your safety's sake! When you follow the rules, your blogs get posted. It's that simple! And now, The Rules...

Q: Can I tell my name?
A: First names and nicknames only. NO LAST NAMES.

Q: Can I tell names of my friends and family?
A: First names or nicknames only. NO last names.

Q: Can I give out my e-mail address?
A: No way! And, please, don't give out e-mail addresses of family members, friends or anybody!

Q: Can I use my screenname from other sites?
A: Nope. Screennames from any other sites are not allowed. This includes myspace, facebook, aim, aol, yahoo, msn, hotmail, gmail, etc. Here's why... that's personal information that should stay personal.

Q: Can I post pics of myself, my friends or my family?
A: Nope! No photos of you, your fam, your buds, your teachers, your classmates, your coaches, your lacrosse team or any other people in your life... UNLESS you alter the photos so all faces are blocked out: wear a mask, put your hands in front of your face, or come up with your own ways - this is a great time to show how creative you are!

Q: What other kinds of pics are off limits?
A: You can't post pics of the outside of your house or your school.

Q: Can I give out my phone number?
A: Nope! And, please, don't give out anyone else's phone number.

Q: Can I tell my age and birthday?
A: Sure thing!

Q: Can I tell the name of my school?
A: No! That includes abbreviations, too. Like, if you go to a school named Saint Paul Central Middle School, you can't say you go to SPCMS because people might figure it out.

Q: Can I say what city I live in?
A: You can't say the name of your city, but let's say you live in Los Angeles, you can say: "I live in Southern California"... or "I live near LA." Just don't say how near or far! It's too easy for peeps (rhymes with "creeps") to figure out exactly where you live.

Q: Should I give my friend my password?
A: Nope. Here's why: That friend can get on your page and write stuff in your blog when you're not looking.

Q: Are mean girls allowed on AllyKatzz?
A: All girls are welcome, except mean girls. Be mean once, we ask you to stop. Be mean twice, we give you one more shot. Be mean three times and you're off the site. Mean includes saying mean things to other girls on the site and using inappropriate language.
